You can be extremely bright and still have dyslexia. You just have to understand how you learn and how you process information.

Assessments

Diagnostic Dyslexia Assessment

With this assessment, our team can diagnose dyslexia. This is a full assessment of underlying ability, attainments in reading, writing and cognitive processing skills, such as memory, processing speed, and phonological processing. The diagnostic assessment is carried out at our Centre by trained assessors. The assessment is accompanied by an in-depth written report.

Working Memory Test

Working memory is a type of short-term memory that allows us to store and manipulate temporary information and carry out complex cognitive tasks like comprehension, reasoning, reading or calculations.  This test offers an array of exercises designed to identify and improve any challenges with working memory.

Test of Visual Stress

Visual stress, which affects 15 – 20% of the population, hinders children’s literacy development and is a barrier to efficient and enjoyable reading. This text gives an accurate and reliable indication of the existence and severity of visual stress and identifies those who may benefit from using coloured overlays or tinted lenses to combat the symptoms of visual stress

Test of Cognitive Ability

This text provides a robust, standardized measure of cognitive reasoning ability. It gives an invaluable insight into your pupils’ ability to reason across four distinct batteries: verbal, non-verbal, mathematical and spatial, as compared to the national average, allowing you to address patterns and adapt teaching methods to suit individual or group needs.
